The commission taken on by Olivia de Pazzis Hanemian and AIM Hanemian Architects was to decorate a Haussmannian period apartment building in the heart of Paris 16th arrondissement and another at the back of a courtyard after a complete rebuild.

Lighting for the complete project came from hidden sources suspended in ceiling panels at various points. A glass stele sculpted by the artist Yan Hervis is sited on the main staircase. By means of a projector located in the courtyard it sends up on to the suspended ceiling an abstract design of the 1930s, contemporary with the date of the building.

Il s’agissait pour l’agence AIM Hanemian Architectes de décorer un immeuble haussmannien et un immeuble en fond de cour en plein cœur du 16ème arrondissement après l’avoir complètement restructuré.

L’éclairage de l’ensemble a été réalisé à partir de sources invisibles, cachées dans des dalles flottantes accrochées aux plafonds des différents espaces. Une stèle en verre sculptée par Yan Hervis située dans l’escalier principal projette au plafond suspendu sur cet espace, au moyen d’un projecteur placé dans la cour, le dessin abstrait d’une composition des années 30, souvenir de la date de création de l’immeuble.
