Monoprix Headquarters

Quality from top to bottom

FRANCE - Boulogne-Billancourt

In renovating the Monoprix Building in Boulogne Billancourt it has proved possible thanks to a complete reorganization of the different departments to situate management on the top floor. Here a managerial dining room and a kitchen have been installed, served and made safe by the ducted extraction of fumes and smoke, and within the norms imposed on high rise buildings.

For the interior design of the floor occupied by the CEO, AIM Hanemian Architects has given priority to the ‘noble’ materials of design, wood, metal and glass, in conjunction with carefully sited mirroring. There is an appropriately high-quality choice of contemporary furniture designed by leading names in the field.

It has proved necessary to take into account the low ceiling height on each floor. Thus, at the entrance to Reception, the curved sliding doors, which are of wood and beveled glass, are reflected in a mirrored ceiling to create an effect of stelae with a substantial impact. The doors to the CEO’s suite are full wall height, to create an impression of spaciousness. Every feature of this project has been designed to reflect the refinement and commercial dynamism associated with the Monoprix brand name.
